Just Like Music Series Vol I.
These are some of LCP’s favorite musical artists who have inspired him and have also got him into some trouble for having their CD at an early age from his mom. In his paintings, he wanted to paint his appreciation for their excellence they have showed musically and how their words and beats through music can inspire anyone!

Sade - "24x36" - Acrylic on Canvas - For Sale - Her voice soothes LCP soul. Whatever he is feeling before, he can listen to her and instantly be at peace.

SZA Love (SZA) - "36x36" - Acrylic on Canvas - For Sale - When LCP listens to SZA she reminds him of Sade in a way because of her voice and smoothness of her melodies. Her vibes are radiant.

Rick tha Rula (Slick Rick) - "24x36" - Acrylic on Canvas - Sold - His CD is the one who got LCP into some trouble. He really likes the cadence of his voice, beats and style of rhyming, it is very animated. Slick Rick was one of the first people he saw with an eye patch and gold teeth. His style is dope.

Young Nip (Nipsey Hussle) - "16x20" - Acrylic on Canvas - Sold - Nipsey Hussle has done so much for his community, family and the culture. He was the modern-day Tupac to the Culture. He showed the community how to embrace the struggle and journey and then "Double Up" which is LCP's favorite song by Nipsey. When he passed it hurt to the core. Rest in Power King Nip.

Marvin Marvin - "24x36" - Acrylic on Canvas - For Sale - Marvin Gaye is LCP's absolute favorite solo musical artist and the reason the series title is "Just Like Music". Title of the series comes out of a song he created. What he spoke in his lyrics about love, the world, and music LCP relates to immensely. Often LCP wonders what it would be like if Marvin Gaye was still with us creating music. Rest in Power King Marvin.

Ron Isley - "24x36" - Acrylic on Canvas - For Sale - The Isley Brothers are by far in LCP's top three bands of all time. Ron Isley's lead vocals are so smooth and soulful. LCP loves how he instantly gets into a groove when he listens to their music. He paints to their music often.

Nip in the Clouds - "36x48" - Acrylic on Canvas - For Sale - To contrast with "Aaliyah in the Night Sky" LCP wanted a musical artist in the clouds. He looks at the night sky, equally as much as the clouds. Honestly, LCP can see way more figures or shapes that are created from the clouds. He did Nipsey because he really is a person that was gone too soon. LCP can remember where he was and the exact time when he heard the news that Nip passed away. LCP's heart sunk and the rest of the day was very melancholy for him. Although he is gone he is never forgotten. Nip in the Clouds is a painting to show that he is always with us. "Double up"!

Aaliyah in the Night Sky - "36x48" - Acrylic on Canvas - For Sale -For the short time that Aaliyah graced our presence she was impactful. Her music is timeless and you can never forget her beautiful smile from the photos, music videos and movies she starred in. LCP always wondered what her life would have been like if she was still with us. He wanted to put her in the night sky because he often looks at the stars and imagines her looking down at us. LCP used Mufasa from "The Lion King Movie" in the night sky as a reference.

Bry444n - "9x12" - Acrylic on Canvas - NFS - Bry444n is an amazingly talented poet, musician, and person in general. His art is so inspiring, motivating and LCP resonates deeply with it. He created LCP a poem that hangs on his wall. LCP looks at it everyday for a positive message to start and end the day. Please make sure not to sleep on this artist. He is dope and will make you feel something! You can catch his music, poetry and art on Apple Music, Spotify, Soundcloud and Youtube under Bry444n. Hope you enjoy!

Fourty - "9x12" - Acrylic on Canvas - NFS - LCP grew up with Fourty in Seattle, so to see him perform and create music with ease and swag is very inspirational to me. LCP is a person that wants to see his peers and family accomplish all their goals they set out. Especially if you black "Im rooting for everyone black and brown". Much love to my guy and all the success he will achieve. He is also an artist you do not want to sleep on. You can catch his music on Apple Music, Spotify, Soundcloud and Youtube under Fourty. Hope you enjoy!
