LCP (Lester C. Pearson) was born and raised in South Seattle, WA. Studied Visual Arts at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME. He paints things that inspire him in the world: shoes, people, food, and much more. He calls his painting style Abstract Gradient. He has showcased his artwork in the Museum of Pop Culture, Rooted 23rd, Coyote Central, Central Café Juice Bar, The Food Art Collection, Sami's Corner Store, Snip It's Haircut For Kids, The Christ Spirit Village Tiny Homes (Central District), Cultivated Culture Studios, Trap Art (STAGE Seattle and ORA Seattle), Amazon Doppler, Café Ibex, RainerAvenueRadio.World - Art of Soul Gallery, RAW (Club Sur), Alternative Library, St. Therese Catholic Academy, Hillman City Collaboratory, Youngstown Cultural Arts Center (ArtsCorps), Onyx Fine Arts, Gage Academy of Art, The Edwards Center for Art (Bowdoin College), Washington Hall, and a bunch of vendor markets.

He calls his style of painting; Abstract Gradient. Abstract because he paints irregular shapes from the filter Photoshop gives him. Gradient because he focuses on the highlights and shadows of the photo reference in steps of high or low value of that color. His painting process starts with a photo reference, then he places it into Photoshop to secure the best filter cutout he desires. Next, he projects the image onto his canvas and traces it with vine charcoal. He then uses water to solidify the charcoal on the canvas (what most artist call; scaffolding). Lastly, he mixes acrylic paints to the desired color from the photo reference or most times he improvises.  Painting is his passion, love and therapy. He loves to listen to music and burn incense when he paints to get into a groove. You can find LCP posting to his social media accounts regularly.
